FIRE RESISTANT METAL ROOF TILES
The steel core and mineral stone coating are non-combustible, so the Milano roof does not feed a flame and holds its fire rating on villas and commercial buildings.
WIND RESISTANT METAL ROOFING
Concealed interlocking side laps and a screw fixing at every batten hold the Milano profile steady through hurricane gusts and constant coastal wind.
LIGHTWEIGHT METAL ROOF TILES
At 2.35 to 3.5 kg per tile, about a sixth of clay or concrete, Milano adds little dead load to the frame and suits re-roofing over an existing structure.
WATERPROOF METAL ROOF TILES
The rounded lower edge and deep head lap shed tropical rain fast, and the sealed stone surface stops capillary creep back up the course.
CORROSION & UV RESISTANT
Galvalume steel with an aluminium-zinc coating resists salt air, while the natural stone granules block ultraviolet light so the colour will not chalk or fade.
ENERGY EFFICIENT, LONG LIFESPAN
The stone surface reflects heat and the ventilated profile lowers attic temperature, giving a roof rated for decades of service with almost no maintenance.
FAST INTERLOCKING INSTALLATION
Pre-punched pans, a consistent 1340 x 420 mm module and 0.46 m2 of coverage let two installers lay a full roof without trimming every course.
