Interlocking shingle metal roof tile, sealed at every lap.
Cailin Interlocking Shingle is a shingle metal roof tile that recreates the layered look of a traditional shingle roof, but replaces the short life of asphalt with a sealed steel system. Each panel is pressed from galvalume (Aluzinc) steel, coated with ceramic stone granules and formed with an interlocking step on both side laps. The concealed clip holds the panel down while the lap below turns water sideways, away from the fixing, so no screw pierces the face. It also lays over existing asphalt shingles, cutting tear-off time. Custom colours and packaging for distributors and contractors.
A steel core under a mineral stone surface will not feed a flame, so the interlocking shingle adds a passive fire barrier over villas, townhouses and commercial roofs.
WIND RESISTANT METAL ROOFING:
Each panel locks to its neighbour on both side laps and is held on a concealed clip line, so wind uplift is carried by the interlock rather than by an exposed screw head — the reason the system holds through hurricane-season gusts.
LIGHTWEIGHT METAL ROOF TILES:
A fraction of the weight of clay or concrete tile, the shingle system lowers structural load, and because it can lay over sound asphalt shingles a re-roof needs no tear-off and no second skip.
WATERPROOF METAL ROOF TILES:
Sealing is built into the profile: a raised interlocking step turns water sideways, the course below overlaps it by a full lap, and the fixing sits under the tile instead of through the face. Storm rain runs along the lap rather than into a hole.
CORROSION & UV RESISTANT:
Galvalume (Aluzinc) steel, primer coats and ceramic stone granules resist salt air, acid rain and UV, so the deep browns and charcoals keep their tone instead of chalking back to grey.
ENERGY EFFICIENT, LONG LIFESPAN:
The stone surface slows heat transfer into the roof space while the steel core holds its strength for decades — a low-maintenance shingle metal roof tile backed by a 50-year warranty.
FAST INTERLOCKING INSTALLATION:
Panels are laid like siding: the interlocking edge sets the course spacing, the tile clicks into the one below, and the fastener disappears under the next course, so laying time and call-backs both drop.
