Cailin Classical Roof Tile

Classic stone coated roof tile with the Roman profile

Cailin Classical is a classic stone coated roof tile built on a Galvalume (Aluzinc) steel core and finished with natural stone chips and acrylic resin. Its Roman profile — 1340 × 420 mm, 1290 × 370 mm effective — recreates traditional clay tile on a roof about one sixth as heavy, so it can re-roof straight over an existing deck. Tiles interlock side to side and cover 0.48 m² each, at 2.08 pieces per square metre. Choose 0.35 to 0.55 mm steel, eight stock colours or a custom match, with ridge, hip and verge trims to finish the roofline.

FIRE RESISTANT METAL ROOF TILES:

A steel core under a mineral stone surface will not feed a flame, adding fire safety to residential and commercial buildings.

2 (3)

WIND RESISTANT METAL ROOFING:

Interlocking side laps and a screwed batten line hold the Classical profile tight in high winds, hurricanes and cyclone-prone regions.

2 (5)

LIGHTWEIGHT METAL ROOF TILES:

At roughly one sixth the weight of clay or concrete tile, a Classical roof adds little structural load — practical for re-roofing, two-storey houses and earthquake zones.

2 (1)

WATERPROOF METAL ROOF TILES:

Overlapping courses and sealed laps shed storm rain, and the 1290 × 370 mm effective cover keeps the roof watertight through heavy rain and tropical wet seasons.

2 (2)

CORROSION & UV RESISTANT ROOF TILES:

Galvalume (Aluzinc) steel, a protective base coat and ceramic stone granules resist salt air, acid rain and UV fading — a durable stone coated roof tile for coastal and high-altitude sites.

2 (4)

ENERGY EFFICIENT, LONG LIFESPAN:

The stone surface slows heat transfer into the building and the steel core keeps its strength for decades, with almost no maintenance over a long service life.

2 (6)

FAST INSTALLATION, LOW MAINTENANCE:

Lightweight 1340 × 420 mm tiles and a simple interlocking system shorten installation time, cut labour cost and make re-roofing over an existing deck practical.

Layers of a stone coated metal roof panel: overglaze, stone granules, basecoat, acrylic primer, aluminium-zinc alloy coating and the steel core

Stone Coated Metal Roof Panel Components

  • Overglaze – semi-gloss finish; added protection
  • Stone Granules – color; UV resistance; coverage
  • Basecoat – adhesion; UV protection; color blended
  • Acrylic Primer – priming system; enhances adhesion
  • Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coating – prevents corrosion; protection
  • Steel – 0.33mm to 0.55mm thickness; load-bearing; flexible
  • Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coating – prevents corrosion; protection
  • Acrylic Primer – priming system; enhances adhesion

In general, there are 3 main parts of raw material contents:

  • ① Stone Chips ( Beautiful look, effective heat / UV resistant, noise reduction, anti-slip and etc features)
  • ② Galvalume Steel Plate ( Eco-friendly and recyclable material, strong, light-weight, anti-corrosion, waterproof)
  • ③ Acrylic Glue ( Premium sealing performance, strong adhesion, anti-algae)
